Our History

Founded in 2004 by Josh Sheard, Sage Investments is a family-led financial planning firm based in historic Honesdale, PA. We specialize in retirement planning, investment management, and tax-efficient strategies designed to evolve with your life.

For over twenty years, we’ve helped clients navigate major milestones—from buying a first home and building wealth to preparing for retirement and creating lasting legacies. In 2022, Josh’s son, Andrew, joined the firm, strengthening our multi-generational approach to long-term client relationships.

The Sheard family and our team are active supporters of the Honesdale community. For us, financial planning is about more than numbers—it’s about people, family, and community.
